Voice training was always a bit of a daunting prospect, since at the beginning of the road it can feel like facing a sheer cliff, and there are many such difficult points in the journey. Celia was a patient and exacting tutor throughout the whole process, breaking down the complicated thing that is voice into bite-size skills. And with practice and guidance, what seemed impossible yesterday gradually became second nature.
Attaining a voice reflective of my true self, through voice training with Celia, has bolstered my confidence significantly, both to exist in the world and to make progress with my transition.
